Our hand-picked team of tutors sets Cohen Math Prep apart from other tutoring organizations. Founder Rob Cohen used what he found effective from his own extensive tutoring experience as a framework for recruiting and mentoring like-minded tutors.

All tutors at Cohen Math Prep have at least Bachelor’s degrees in their respective content areas and/or in Education. Additionally, most of our tutors have – or are in the process of obtaining – advanced degrees. Unlike many other tutoring companies, Cohen Math Prep only hires tutors with extensive tutoring/teaching experience. Our engaging tutors also possess a mastery of communication in addition to subject matter, allowing them to connect with their students as well as they do with the material.

Remote Lessons & Service Areas/Schools We Know

While Cohen Math Prep primarily offers virtual lessons, we have experience with the routines and faculty at many schools throughout New York City, and the Greater Philadelphia Area. When helpful or necessary, we will contact your school’s teacher(s) to best prepare for the demands of the school.
