Georgiana Moore

Sciences, ASL & MCAT Tutor
Georgiana studied at RIT and at St. John Fisher University to obtain her Bachelor’s of Science. She created her own Interdisciplinary degree in Medical Sciences and American Sign Language.

Georgiana has a diverse background, including working as a biotechnical researcher and as a medical care provider. This gives her the unique opportunity to provide personalized examples that students can imagine and relate to when they ask, “When will I ever use this?” For six years, prior to joining Cohen Math Prep in 2024, Georgiana worked as a professional STEM tutor at the Community College of Philadelphia.

While studying for her degree, Georgiana worked as an EMT and led annual and biannual training programs for first responder experience. After graduating, Georgiana continued to work in the medical field. While performing her primary duties, including in-office procedures and small operations, she trained young professionals entering the field. Upon moving to Media, PA Georgiana redirected her focus to medical biotechnology research, where she trained graduate students in her ongoing novel research involving Drosophila wings to study certain aspects of Dementia.

In her personal time, Georgiana enjoys gardening, hiking, and practicing art using a variety of mediums.
