Kilando began his tutoring journey in high school when he created free ACT after school boot camps for his classmates. In college, Kilando worked as a Statistics Teaching Fellow for the college’s largest course: Introduction to Probability Theory. He also extensively tutored the SAT/ACT and general mathematics for middle and high schoolers. Kilando has a talent for breaking down complex concepts into easy steps, tailoring his approach to each student’s learning style. Not only does Kilando help students of Cohen Math Prep foster a better understanding of the material, but he also boosts their confidence and autonomy.

Outside of working, Kilando loves to travel, sing, write poetry, and read.
