Raphael graduated with Honors from Wesleyan University in 2015, where they tutored peers in language learning and essay writing. They also volunteered teaching inmates through the Wesleyan Center for Prison Education program. They have over 7 years of experience teaching essay writing, languages, and standardized tests including the ACT, SAT, ISEE and SSAT. Their teaching style is supportive, consistent, and focused. Most recently, they taught fiction and poetry writing to undergraduates at NYU, where they recently completed an MFA in Creative Writing.
