Yes! At Cohen Math Prep, we believe that a strong connection between the student and tutor drives the learning process. Unless otherwise requested by the client, we make every effort not to interrupt that working relationship. In the rare event of temporary unavailability of a tutor, another member of our team can be requested as a substitute.
All tutors at Cohen Math Prep have at least Bachelor’s degrees in their respective content areas and/or in Education. Additionally, most of our tutors have – or are in the process of obtaining – advanced degrees. Unlike many other tutoring companies, Cohen Math Prep only hires tutors with extensive tutoring/teaching experience. Take a look at the tutors that comprise our highly qualified team.

Tutoring is all about the connection between tutor and student. While we try our best to match our students with an ideal tutor, in rare cases there is a mismatch. In these cases, we will promptly match you with another tutor if so desired. We stand by the content mastery and competence of our tutors and do not give refunds as a policy.

No! You pay for and schedule lessons as you please. Understand that our tutors block out their schedules according to regular, weekly appointments, so we cannot always guarantee tutor availability for lessons that occur less frequently than weekly.
We charge the full price of a lesson for cancellations on the scheduled day of the lesson. Cancellations or schedule change requests with at least a day’s notice are usually not charged, except when they become routine.
