In 2023, he received a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Syracuse University, where he taught undergraduate seminars in contemporary literature, fiction writing, and rhetoric/composition. He has worked as a teaching assistant for a high school seminar in African American studies, and as a writing tutor for Ellipsis Writing.

Angelo seeks to support high school students of all backgrounds in their reading, writing, and studying for coursework and standardized testing in English and History. He is also available to work with students on their personal statements and statements of purpose for college and summer-program applications.
