Chris graduated from Emory University with a B.S. in Quantitative Neuroscience and a Spanish minor. In college, he was a varsity swimmer and Division III All-American as well as a research assistant in areas ranging from genetics to autism. He is currently a pre-doctoral research fellow at Marcus Autism Center at Emory where he studies the early development of autism.

Chris’s passion for teaching began as a junior in high school in 2014, when he co-taught a class in AP Spanish Literature and Culture after taking the class himself. He then moved on to individual tutoring in math from pre-algebra to Calculus BC as well as test prep and all levels of Spanish. At Emory, Chris tutored several middle and high school students in math and designed a course in Spanish for two students interested in learning Spanish outside of a classroom. Since graduating, Chris has also taught Biology and Chemistry, drawing upon his knowledge from his Neuroscience training. Drawing upon his diverse academic background, Chris specializes in an individual approach to learning with an enthusiastic demeanor that helps students engage in material more effectively.

In his spare time, Chris is an avid biker and traveler, with plans to travel to Latin America and Europe this year.
