Sophia’s previous teaching and tutoring experience includes a two-year stint teaching English to adult immigrants, a semester teaching creative writing to NYU undergrads, and a summer tutoring the SAT at a New York City nonprofit. At Columbia, she was a TA for Calculus I and III. As a tutor at Cohen Math Prep, Sophia enjoys drawing upon her varied experience to tutor a wide range of subjects. Her uniquely combined background studying both Math and English at a high level make her well-suited to prepare students for tests like the SAT and ACT.
